Hey everyone, so ive now checked 3 dizzys for my car, every single one of them gives me the same problem. The car is running like the 180 hall effects sensor is shot. I have checked all 3 dizzys on a snap on square wave signal reader. on every dizzy ive tried the 360 pulse per distrbutor revolution reading is a good 0-5 volt square wave, however the 4 pulse per distributor revolution is not giving out any signal at all, on all 3 of the dizzys ive tried. ive got 12V constant and ground hooked up to their respective pins but i still havent been able to get a signal out of the 4 pulse pin. The way the car runs shows telltale signs of this problem, however, i think its a little strange that i have had the same problemn with all 3 dizzys, am i missing something? does ecu have anything to do with this? I am getting no codes from the ecu, and a datascan shows no codes or issues whatsoever, the wiring all apprears to be good with continuity everywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated, myself and my technician are completely stumped.

take this back to basics bro...redo your timing with the dizzy installed....as the car is running...pul 1 plug wire at a time....if you are getting week spark..but all plugs and injectors fire..then its not your dizzy...it could be an ignitor chip issue..there is a test in your FSM for it...allso...ohm out your plug wires too..there is a test for that as well...keep in mind..air fuel spark..keep us posted with what ya find.
