Ka24de Cylinder help

i plan on buying this ka24de for about 150 with a transmission, but he says that the cylinder #1 has low compression. is this a quick fix? seems to be a good price also. Motor w/ transmission, only missing starter, transmission harness and shifter. lmk thanks

Well... Low compression means several things, none of which are easy fixes. In order of easiest to fix to hardest....

Bent valve.Blown head gasket.Busted Piston ring. Snapped a ring land on the piston.Hole in crown of piston.Hole in cylinder wall.

150 is a good price. About what you pay for a cor engine you plan on rebuilding. So plan on rebuilding it.
