KA24DE coolant reroute like FWD?

I stumbled upon a description of rerouting the coolant in the head to be more of a straight through loop instead of back and forth for the KA24DE but I didn't think to mark a 'favorites' and I can no longer find it. It was a tip on opening up some sort of port on the head that should be there for a FWD version of the engine. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and can they help me find that information again. I've searched for over a year now and find plenty on coolant rerouting for bypassed heater cores and the small hoses at the tb (how many posts do we really need for those little hoses anyway!?). The reroute I'm looking for has more to do with the head and pluggin a large hole and unplugging another for the big hoses to the radiator... I think. It's been at least two years since I found it and I'm finally ready for a complete rebuild and beef up of my KA24DE.
