KA24DE, can anyone tell me where in the world I can buy this Engine????

Hey Everyone, I am so glad I found this site, you guys seem to be experts on 240xs' anyways, I bought my 91 240sx last year, it was running great until the Engine started throwing oil from the exhaust and every time I gased it from a stop, the idle on the RPM seemed to hesitate on me... sort of like wanting to turn off... well I don't know weather to Buy, Rebuild, or fix my Engine. So far I have been searching for a KA24DE engine, but nobody, I mean NObody has it! I called company after company... I was also wondering if it would make a difference buying a KA24E, like would that engine give more problems, or what should I do? So do you guys know where to buy a KA24DE or a KA24E?? I live in southern cali, so anyplace there would be great! Thanks fellas!-Luis

there are plenty of shops willing to build you an engine. they will most likely source it themselves also. off the top of my head, i know that ams will build you an engine as well as HRT, and Top Hat. google those companies and should come up with their websites.

Thanks so much man, but can you do me a favor and tell me exactly how you spell ams and hrt, I tried to google for them but all this junk came out... I hope I am not asking for too much,-Luis
