Post

I have been playing with different camshafts in my s14, and I have gathered quite a few of different ones, To differentiate s14 from s13 ones, I simply look at the last journal, if it has a groove and no oil hole, it's an s14/ late altima one.

As most know, S13 cams have the intake green and the exhaust orange while s14 have the intake yellow and exhaust green.

My question is regarding the stamped information on them, in my case, all my 14 camshafts (s14's, s13's and altimas) have 53F stamped on them so that's no use, and 4 of them have the dark orange paint, seem to be from s13's (last journall has a hole so back plug needs to be pushed in to be used in my s14 engine), but one of them has | stamped on it, which can either stand for Intake or 1, while the others have either 3 or 4 stamped on them.

From what I recall, s13 exhaust camshafts should have 3 stamped on them, so which car did the one with the | and the 4 came from? I can take pictures if that would help.

Any help would be greatly appreicated.

Thanks
