Okay, looks like I'm about to do what everyone else wants to do... get more power from the KA24DE motor.

I was looking at Brian Crower cams but I'm wondering why they're cheaper than other brands..

A knowledgeable friend told me that Brian Crower cams are crap because they're Chinese-made, can anyone give insight on this?

Also, it seems that these cams can be used with stock springs/valves, is this true? How badly will this destroy my already poor fuel economy?

I was reading this page as well for more insight: http://www.240sxforums.com/forums/ka24d ... guide.html
The specific ones I was looking at: Brian Crower Stage 2 Cams - $420.00/set (Part #BC0212)

I for one have experience with tomei cams and bc cams. Bc cams arent very impressive on the sr20 engines. Id recommend shopping around some more.

I have a KA24DE, if that's what you meant. I'll look some more.

You can get junk hard cam upgrades from certain altima years and S13 exhaust... Search altima exhaust cam and S13 exhaust cam swap

I read about the exhaust cam. I think you buy the Exhaust cam and turn it 4 teeth to the left.. is that a significant increase in power though?

Stock redline I would stick with. With all stock components I don't see the need to raise it, you know?

Oh, okay. The car will most likely stay N/A, I was thinking of building a KA on the side for performance then drop that in.

So the exhaust cam is a better way to go than the BC cams or anything in that price range?
