can anyone out there show me a pic or drawing of just what this thing looks like. WE HAVE TORN THE ENGINE DOWN LOOKING FOR THIS PIECE!!!! I need the side guide ,not the top guide

So sounds like you're talking about the upper timing chain guide. There are 2 guides and 1 tension guide.

Now you'll notice guide for the top is missing, you don't need it. Also the on the guide on the right side can be removed.

Having those guides on causes a timing chain rattle, it's super annoying.
