Ka24DE cam bolt size?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Pulling the head for some work. Don't have my caliper at home for measurement. What size socket do I need for the cam bolts (at the timing chains, not the bearing caps).

Do you mean the bolts on the cam sprockets? If so, I think it's 24mm on a KA24DE.

Thanks Brad. Now on the way to buy a socket. I used a metric tape measure, but this only gets so close. I'd hate to buy a 24, 25, 26 just to catch it.
