KA24DE build-up

Alryte, I'm 16 and I'm buying a 91' 240 shell. I'm gonna scout out the yards for a ka24de black. Would the ka24de from a nissan pickup work on a 240? Like would the motor and drivetrain line-up and everything? I'm hoping it would be a direct drop in. On top of that how would you know if a block is burned out? I don't want to buy a black that wouldn't be able to breathe again. Also, how much horsepower would I be able to make in that motor keeping it N/A and smog legal? Help me out guys!

I think all the nissan trucks had the ka24e, but other than that, they should drop right in.

As for how much horsepower N/A AND smog legal, I'm going to say 165 hp.

Actually, my uncle got it for me on his trip to japan, so ill let you know when I talk to my uncle. I kno, that spoiler is sick aint it? I love havin' stuff people dont have. haha.
