Has anyone seen someone install a external flange on these to run a external wastegate on the KA motors? i havnt seen these upclose but wonder if its possible.. also can we Fit a T3 flange on there to run bottom mount T3/t4e turbo. since our motors are abit thiner do we run into issues fitting a T3/4 turbo down there... curious just didnt want to buy everything and figure it out myself and i dont have any product to evaluate to see if it would be possible. did a search didnt come up with much.

I would be sure you could weld a pipe with a flange on to it. Also wouldnt an external wastegate gain some HP becuase it flows better decreasing backpressure at full boost.

the manifolds are setup to place the turbo in the same spot as the sr. a t3 flange will work

trying to find a decent spot to weld a tube for a wastegate flange and a t3 flange on it, makes it seem like it wouldnt even be worth. it would most likly need an extra brace to support the weight of a larger t3/t4 turbo.

i know a guy running a gt2576 or gt2871 on his ka with that manifold and its doing great at 14psi. it would make the install alot easier to go with a t25 inlet internally gated turbo like that
