ka24de any difference

Well im getting a 95 or 96 240sx. i want to buy a ka24de motor to build up. just wondering if a 2000-2001 altima motor would work right. or does it have to be off a 240sx? i been on ebay and there motors are for all altimas, going to check local junkyards later.

Altimas are FF, so their KA24s aren't compatable. If it was me, I'd take an S14 KA from a 97-98, the newer the better. The KA24 from the pickups might work, but i'm not sure about that, I hear they're tuned differently if that matters. Anybody else have an idea?

oh ok, i just thought the FF ka's might work becasue there seems to ba a lot more ka's for the altimas here in detroit. so its hard to find what i need.
