KA24DE and RB20DET flywheel the same?

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

Hey i was just wondering if any one can confirm that KA24DE and RB20det flywheels are the same

correct, however, I believe you have to use another clutch pressure plate cover, due to the change in mounting hole locations for the clutch. There is a write up on some of the KA forums about the "ultimate" clutch setup for weight purposes.

Using a RB20 flywheel, Z33 clutch disk, and pressure plate.

for some resone it changed the the link, but thats from fresh alloy,

anyway, so from what u've said the pressure plate mouning is diffrent on the KA24 flywheel, if i was to use a ka24 clutch disc, pressure plate, and flywheel, am i still able to use the rb25det starter motor , more dirrect, is the starter ring spacing and daimeter/offset???
