ka24de alternator problems

Hi ok my battery kept dying so i bought a new alternator. it kept draining my battery and was only running off it. eventually my battery died from having to charge it so many times. now i have a new alternator and battery. i checked my alt fuse and it looks ok. i have searched on here but found nothing. when i went to see if there was power coming to the plug i got nothing. help.

Well if the battery drains when the car is off then it can't be your alternator, something is running and draining your battery. That something is using power while the car is off. Here's how I would go about it.

I'd disconnect the negative battery cable.
I'd connect a test light between the (-) battery lug and the (-) battery cable. This will check for a parasitic load while the car is off. If something is draining the battery with the key off then the light will glow, even if just a little. The key is to find the circuit that is draining the battery and this is accomplished by removing fuses one-at-a-time until the test light extinguishes. One the light turns off you have found the fuse powering the parasitic load. Then it's just a matter of using a schematic to check what electrical devices are powered by that fuse. Rule each one out one-at-a-time until you find the culprit.
