KA24DE Accelleratin Problem

I have a 1993 240 W/ A ka24DE FROM A 96. I have searched a few topics and read a few as well. None that I found seem to address my problem. It all started with a transmission leak. I changed rear seal leak stopped. Put everything back together. Ran Fine for a few months. And now I'm having acceleratin problems. Basically it runs fine but won't accelerate properly. I have new plugs cords and your basic tuneup. I was wondering if maybe I am overlooking something? The only thing I could think of is the transmission filter or some kind of transmission issue because the horsepower seems to be there. Any help would be greatly appreciated cuz I miss my 240.
