ka24de a little sluggish

my ka has been running quite sluggish since i originally got it. I got it from a pos owner that thought it was a bad transmission but it turned out the alternator tensioner brakcets were loose. I tightened them and the car ran better. Than when i left with it.

its never had an idle issue but sluggish when accelerating. Almost feels like misfiring, but after i get through 2k it kinda stops being sluggish and pulls like it should. I recently changed the spark plugs, spark plug cables, fuel filter, cap n rotor, oil, and valve cover gasket.

I was thinking the IACV or fuel pump, but i ruled out the pump because its only at like 1-2k rpms. Anyone have an input lmk.

Stats:1992 ka24de all stock besides POS air filter previous owner put on. 141k miles.

Mine is doin the same I have a 93 KA nd it doesn't pull like it should. I replaced my wires, plugs, gasket also but I do kno my alternator puts out 30 amps less than it should. I'm still learnin as a mechanic and 240sx owner 1 guy said my alternator isn't puttin power out 2 my ECM like it should. I also do kno my belts on the alternator r loose earlier 2day I bought a new alternator Ima put it on nd tighten my belts u fix urs yet????

Nope never fixed it, just accepted the hesitation.

yea i did that, i just think its the IACV. Going to build a motor in the soon future so im not worried about that

all that stuff is straight i changed the alternator but missin the top bolt if u guys kno wut size that'd be nice 2 kno bc my alt belt cnt be tightened all the way bc im missin that bolt but new alternator is in drivin 2 wrk juss yesterday sumthin wit my transmission juss got all screwed up barely goes n 2 n e of the gears nd cnt get it n 2 second gear if my life depended on it im searchin now but n e kno wussup i juss bled the clutch 2 so thats good throw out bearing is good 2
