ka24de 89 coupe: Idles fine but wont rev! bogs down after headgasket install!

Ok we just put a new felpro headgasket on my ka24de. Now, after messing with timing like 3 times (what a PITA), it starts and idles marvelously.

However, after idling, it does not like to respond to the gas pedal? Push the gas and the rpms dip then bog/stutter.

I unhooked the TPS plug on the throttle body and once the car gets pushed past 1400 ish rpms it free revs very nicely with the TPS unhooked?

is your MAF (mass air flow) plugged in?

yeah you need to have your tps adjusted or replaced.
