Hey guys, I just unplugged my TPS sensor this morning to figure out why my idle keeps jumping at stops, now it won't start. It cranks fine and I can smell gas whenever I start it. I just pulled the ecu to check for codes and it either gave me a 13 or a 31 lol the ecu light said 31 and my dash said 13 so idk. Ideas?

Just checked for spark by pulling out the first wire and putting a plug in it. She arcs like a champ.

Survey says... Flooded! Just went out to start it and it stumbled but fired up. I guess I didn't think that that could be an issue.

Yeah whenever you can smell fuel and you know you're getting spark, I always advocate pulling the fuel pump fuse and cranking until it clears everything out of there.

Not sure if it translates to error 13 or 31, but if it translates to OBD code P0115 for the engine coolant temperature sensor, you may have what I had.
The sensor was going out on mine and was causing the ECU to go haywire, dumping in way too much fuel and flooding the engine. This caused me to stall out in traffic a couple times, sometimes for up to an hour, before I was able to figure out what was going on. Eventually it got to where the car would start, immediately flood out after reaching normal operating temperature (3-5 minutes) and being dead for 2-3 hours afterwards. Pulling the fuel pump fuse helped, but the car obviously wasn't going anywhere like that. I replaced the water temperature sensor (NOT the sensor that controls the gauge) and the problem was immediately resolved.

Yeah, I've fought my own coolant temp sensor woes. Same thing as you said, except it was usually after I shut the car off.
