while searching for my rebuild parts i found that ka and z24 are almost identical ...

now do u guys see any difference between 2 bottom ends? crank /rods / pistons are the same well ka24de has oil squirters already in it

the heads are different ka is 12-16 valve fuel injected while z24 was 8 valve and it was carburated the only thing i like about this one is dual ignition.

what i also found was clevette pistons for z24 would those be better than oem ka pistons? and would the fit ka ...?

and since there was z22 l20 etc prior to 2.4 can u use their parts ?

destoke ka with z22 rods /pistons

i know this may have been already posted but i can't find it in search anywhere

The Z24 pistons would be fine, if wrist pin height is the same, if I recall, it will be lower. This means higher comp. Bad deal for turbo. A lot of the NA guys can answer your Qs though. Talk to DeviousKA, he knows a lot about hybriding Nissan/Datsun motors.
