my nephew bought a 90 240sx. it had a blown head gasket but found a guy that was selling another ka for $100.00. welp he bought it and we swapped them out. that was the easy part..... now the car is turning over and has really good spark but wont fire. i have been told alot of different things to do but i figured that i would ask some pro nismo guys first. any ideas????? i am alos havin problems bleeding the clutch. i cant get the bleeder lose on the transmission. and the pedal either goes all the way up or all the way down. there is no in between. did i forget to hook something up or is it cause i havent bleed it out yet? any help would be awesome. thankz:ylsuper :aug2

do you have the return and supply lines mixed up on the rail? you need to bleed your clutch thats why it drops to floor or stays up with pedal springs. you need to get that screw loose to bleed it. also if you hook a bungy cord under the pedal and over the steering wheel it helps when the person is pumping it while the other guys is cracking the valve and it prevents the pedal stall at the bottom that can draw air right back in.

bungy cord.... that is a great idea and i have never heard that b4. that is just so simple that i wouldnt have never thought of using that. thanks. hopefully that will help with that part. i dont think that i have them mixed up. i only took the one off the transmission to get it out. and then i put it back on.

when i asked if you had the supply and return lines mixed up I meant the fuel lines on the injector rail. sorry i was not more specific. my advice always seems to merge into one big blob. I gotta work on that...lol

hmmmm that is a good question. how can i tell if i screwed that one up? and you know i cant remember smelling alot of gas when we were tryn to start it. after the first couple times i held it wide open and tryd to start it. so i probablly did. do you know the order of the 3 color coded vacuum lines that go to the fuel rail. i think its the fuel rail. ones like red and another is green or something like that. i cant remember right off hand. thanx by the way, i guess i will have to try and switch the fuel lines!!!!

the line coming from the filter goes on the metal pipe that feeds to the injectors directly. the return hose(the hose with out a fuel filter) goes to the metal pipe that goes to the fuel pressure regulator side of the injectors.

I am not following you about the color coded vaccum lines. if you have a digital cam snap a shot and post it and i will try to decifer it.

ok i think that i had the lines backwards. it still wont start and i swapped the distributers, caps and rotors but it still wont turn over. it seems to be getting gas but i am not 100% sure about that. after i changed the fuel lines i pulled them both back off and there was pressurized fuel in the line. i am pretty sure that i am getting spark but i am gonna retest that in the morning. i havent even messed with the clutch yet. i really want to get it running first. do you guys have any clue of what else i could try? b4 when i was cranking it, it seemed like it was missing really bad but after i switched the lines that seemed to go away. i am at a loss, an i am starting to get frustrated with it. please, any advice would be great!!!!!!:help :ylsuper
