ka24/sr20 exhaust interchangeabilbity

Can anyone tell me if an exhaust system for a ka24de will be compatible with an sr20. I am planning a swap this summer (I know, me and everyone's brother, hah) but I need an exhaust for my car now. If they are intercangeable, at what point in the system?From the cat or what?

Just the downpipe to the cat is different.Oops I mean from the turbo to the cat.

So, you're telling me if I buy a cat back system for my ka24, it will be compatible with an sr20 from the cat back? Also, any suggestions for an exhaust with the sr20 in mind?

Yes it will be fine...Any 3 inch exhaust will work for the SR20 setup. A lot of people prefer the Apexi N1. I have a top speed 3inch catback with a gutted catalytic and a HKS downpipe. Hope that helps.
