Has anyone attempted to swap a DOHC head of the KA24DE to the SOHC KA24E?? More importantly has anyone had any success?? I'm going to reserach more, I was just looking for advice/tested truths. Thanks in advance......

your comp will shoot up and you'll need to do a few things to mix and match, adjust the intake cam a couple of links, make a cover to cover the difference in length at the front of the engine, etc. my suggestion would be to get a dohc and put the sohc pistons in that if you're looking for a high comp with dohc.
