Alright, I'm on my way to getting my first 240!!!!!wheeee:D and I'm wondering...:helpwhat's the most you can bore and stroke a KA 24 for? 2.6? 2.7?what's the best turbo kit for the KA? turbonetics?alsooo....what's the highest hp you can get out of a KA, specially if u get more liters in the engine? THANKS IN ADVANCEand sorry if I asked questions that were here already :oface

From what I hear, you don't want to bore OR stroke the KA. It was designed to be 2.4, and I heard the KA doesn't take stretchin it to even 2.5 without internal balance issues.

you should not stroke the ka at all. It has a very long stroke as is (96 MM). the stock bore is supposed to be 89 MM, but i have seen piston kits that can strech that to 91 MM and still are safe. I dont think that will add up to much displacement for you, but every little bit counts.

The more money you put in, the more you can get. People make well over 400hp on KATs when they are done right.

There are 3 stock block 240s here in South FL making just over 500rwhp. With OEM headgasket, ARP head stud, cams and a little head massaging.

sasser virus huh? hmmm and...DAMN! stock internals and all that power? you really don't need to bore or stroke....I'm gonna be making some hp :D but I guess I'll do what I have to do to make the power, I'm aiming to have the most powerfull 240 in the Bahamas. and shyeah I need money lol
