KA24 milage?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

i was wondering what was the milage on your KA24's before you had a problem with it? i am talking more about stock motors but modified motors count also...thanks again for all of your input

anyone think 180K is too much on a ka??

Depends on what you want to do to it and how long you want to drive it. There are a lot of KAs over 200k without significant problems, and there are others that died in the high 100s. It really depends on your use, if you will be doing an engine swap and changing out a lot of the other parts in your car, high mileage doesn't matter except for rust. : ) Good Luck!

i've got an 11 year old ka42e w/ 150,xxx , its been beaten by my mom and left outside its entire life and its only problems are i think 2 very small oil leaks.

Just hit 44,000 on my 1990. The last owner must have had it lock up in a garage. But i do not trust cars with over 150,000 for daily drivers. Only second cars should have that much.
