 i have posted before about this. It was a few months ago but i have tried every single thing i know. I fixed my lower and upper timing. Set my distributor correctly. The car will idle with the MAF unplugged but it will rpms.(brand new MAF)There is a hissing like a leak somewhere on the intake side i have sprayed it down with carb cleaner and still nothing. I cant find this leak or whatever it is. Hopefully there is some knowledge out there to help like i said i have tried every thing i know. There are no leaks after MAF. Maybe i didnt take out all the stuff i should have for egr idk thanks for any help im absolutely stumped still.

Is it hunting for an idle? Racing? Idles for a bit, then goes so low that it chokes?

Also, consider grabbing the FSM from http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/nissan ... nuals.html There are lots of checklists to hunt down idling issues.

It starts up and if you dont touch the gas the engine shakes and dies instantly. But you can feather the gas to keep it alive. I have no codes of ecu only 55. I blocked egr and have checked all the vacuums near the back and all seem to be either plugged or routed to them selves. It is a very loud hissing noise from the intake side but i cant find it with carb cleaner. I have a fsm and have looked over and over im just out of ideas. Thabks for responding and any more helo will be greatly appreciated.

The car is also hesitating/jumping when i attempted to drive it. I stayed in first gear but it was bucking like a bull.

Yeah i just finished re setting the lower chain and upper chain also and re set the cams everything with that is on the dots. The only thing that may be off is distributor but i have re stabbed that multiple times just to get it where it is at now.
