KA will turn over but not start

So.. Last night (dont know if its related to the problem) I pulled up to a stoplight and the s14 dies, engine shuts off and all the lights turn off. I turned the key and the car started right up. I returned home and this morning I go to start the car and it cranks but will not start. It sounds like the starter sounds different than before as well. Is this an electrical issue, fuel, spark ect? Any ideas where to begin troubleshooting?

Something to add as well.. When it cranks it stumbles like it wants to start but wont.

sounds like the idle air control valve (IACV). It is on the intake mani towards the back. It controls your idle by letting in fresh air from a second source when the intake is closed. sounds like yours is sticking shut or just having a hard time opening and closing.
