KA vs SR the final say

so this experiment was conducted in a controlled environment. Same driver for both cars.

also the cars where equally prepped for race conditions.

the big displacement KA24 vs the small displacement turbo charged SR.

so i hope this puts all the arguments to rest out there.

The KA is better just due to the higher displacement. You'll have better drivability and more power potential. Comparing a stock engine of both types is retarded. Really, with two identical cars, the one that has more power will win? Who'd have thought?

So you're saying "bigger is better"??? Just not sure I understand your post....please clarify, and no I'm not taking a side. I'm gonna prefer what I prefer, and nobody can take that away from me, So the whole SR vs KA vs KA-T vs RB vs WD-40 vs whatever is the most ridiculous thing ever....although sometimes it is fun to argue for the sake of arguing....

Same valvetrain/similar head + more displacement = more potential/better drivability. That's not exactly news.

it's just a joke. I really don't know or care so much which is better. we just happenned to have a stock KA with rod knock and another 240 with an SR. We had some video of each, and i threw it together for the hell of it.

it obviously wasn't meant to be serious. just remotely funny. like any of you have anything better to do at work than watch crappy video and argue about it on a forum

I thought it was funny cause I was thinking that KA sounds like crap. Then I saw the nice SR burnout and thought ooh, that means the KA must running on methanol, a huge turbo, and a 4000rpm idle. Then I realized you guys were just trashing a dying KA. LOL...

You RB guys shouldnt make fun of the 4 bangers

We can dream can't we? I think the KA's are great to turbo, I just got a killer deal on SR's.
