KA Trans swap help. desperate!

ok so im swaping to a 5 speed untell i get my RB26. nothing new here. but ive noticed i need a transmission mounting plate that goes between the trans and the engine block. do i actualy NEED this or can i do without? cuz i cant find one to save my damn life. and if i do absolutly need the damn thing, does anyone know where i can get one? my 240 is a 95 btw. thanks

you can drill holes on the xmember to get it to fit, i think

umm...im not sure what you mean. i guess theirs suposed to be a plate that goes between the engine and the transmission. like sandwiched in between the two? and do u know by chance if an SR20 throw out bearing sleeve will work on a KA24 transmission? the guy i baught the trans from was suposed to send me the sleeve as well, but boned me out of it
