KA/Trans install snag *help*

Ok guys. Took the old one out, Now its time to put the new one in and i ran into a snag. I cant get the brackets to line up with the mounts. I have the mounts bolted to the Subframe and the brackets to the motor. Is there some kind of trick to getting them ligned up?

Problem is, I cant get the brackets ligned up with the bolts and the VC keeps hitting the firewall. I wish i could get pics but i cant till sunday. And it has to be done sunday haha

ill try and get some. I was just wondering what way most people choost to install, With the brackets and mounts on the motor or seperated.
