KA transmission with SR Motor?

Okay, I know this is possible, but is it advisable?

I recently replaced the transmission and clutch on my KA. I was wondering if it would be better for me to just buy the SR engine with harness, ecu, ignitor chip etc, and just use the clutch and transmission that I have, or would it be advisable to just buy the whole engine+transmission package?

I believe they use different bellhousings but the actual transmission (back half for lack of the technical term) is the same. Hence, you would not be able to JUST buy the engine, you would still need an SR bellhousing.
