ka transmission wire plug thing

i saw on my sr transmission that the plugs have difftrent plugs on then and one of then the wire is broken of so i wanted to know if u can use the one off the ka and wire it for the sr thanks guy

the main thing i need to know is do u use the 2 plugs on the side i saw that the ka has 3 do u need to use the plugs i know u need to use the speed one

sounds like his plug has a plug problem.

ok i have a 93 with 5 speed and if u look at the right side of the transmission there are 3 plugs on it and on the sr transmission there are 2 do u keep the ones off the sr or do u swap the ones off the ka transmission i and one of the wires came off the sr transmission plugs

u need to swap the one farthest back, the speed sensor and thats it, the rest of them stay regular

can i just hard wire that on ? with out the plugs they are not the same i dont think.

I remember this vaguely... but if my memory is correct, you only need two of the plugs for the SR. I believe the 89-90 trannies had three sensors, 91+ had four sensors, and you just leave one of them off with the SR if you have a 91+.

EDIT: And you use the sensors off the KA transmission unless you feel like doing extra soldering work matching up the wiring harness with the SR sensors.
