ka transmission on sr

hey guys i know you can use the ka transmission on the sr20 if you switch the bell housing. any of you guys running this kind of set up? if so how is it? i was debating on buying a ka transmission and rebuilding it if my sr transmission ever failed on me.

i just looked at the gear ratios between the trannies. they're the same through 4th gear. in 5th gear the SR has a ratio of 0.838:1 and the KA has a ratio of 0.759:1

really i heard on here(NICO) they were exact same, but i guess people are spreadin more mis-information, was the ka transmission of a sohc or dohc, or are they both the same(.759:1)

my FSM is for a DOHC model KA.
