I have a coupe with a stock strong running ka but the frame and body are both bent(previous owner was in a front end collision). I dont want to dump more money to try and repair it because at the end of the day i will still have a crashed car with bondo. What i want to do is buy a shell with a blown engine or one without an engine and swap my ka over. Ive searched for threads with this swap but all i keep getting is the sr rb and ca swaps can you guys link me to a thread where this was done.

Thank you in advance

The reason behind there's nothing found for the ka to ka swap is because it's so freakin easy!!!!!!!!

Take the engine out and swap it into the new chassis. Nothing is hard about it, takes common sense only.

^^Simple enough, that is all there is to it.

If the both cars have/had kas, it's just simply moving it from one car to the next.

Except for the single cam to dual cam swap. The write ups really aren't very clear about this though.

What year is the coupes (donor) motor? Because it would be easier to find a chassis around similar year. IE if its a SOHC motor, then get a chassis from 89-90. If its an S13 coupe, get another shell from 91-94. And Obviously, 95-98, get another s14. Blah, blah, blah.
