I am in the process of swapping a KA throttle body onto my S13 SR so I can have cruise control again and I was wondering if the SR TPS will fit and work properly on the KA throttle body? I have seen a few write-ups on hooking up cruise control on the SR but all that people seem to say is use a KA throttle body, nothing about the TPS...

two options when you use a KA TB. Either swap the TPS over (it's 2 screws IIRC) and set it's voltage back to spec (mulitimeter it and start moving rotating it till it reads the stock spec)

or you can cut the SR TPS plug off the EFI harness and solder on the KA TPS plug.

When I looked at the two TBs, the mounting point for the TPS looks to be different... They both have the same two mounting screws but the rod in the middle that goes to the TPS looks to be a different length. Are you saying the SR TPS will fit on the KA TB without a problem? I would go outside and try it but the car is at home and I'm at school 3 hours away.

just cut the SR connector off the SR TPS and solder it to the KA TPS. or you can repin the connector...either way is easier than trying to make the SR tps work..there is no benefits to using an SR TPS

The reason I was trying to use the SR TPS is because the KA throttle body that I have doesn't have the KA TPS on it. I guess my best bet is to find a KA TPS?
