Might be a PITA Also it would probably break with movement, but yes you could weld it back. Sorry don't know bung size. If you need any emissions stuff I got all of laying in my garage.Just pay shipping....

Quote »i dont want engine codes and i also would like to try to be smog legal[/quote]Leave egr capped off, the egr solenoid in place, and put a 10kohm 1/4watt resistor in place of your egr temperature sensor. That should clear up any codes you have. Otherwise it would be a strange bung, the threads appear to be metric but they capture the flare of the egr tube between the manifold and the "nut". I am not sure how you are going to duplicate that with a bung. Greddy manifold mabye that has an egr port on it...prolly a little late, im sure you have a manifold already.

You'll have to get a shop to match it because it's a weird bung size.

However, I can tell you this:

It is the same size as the aiv bung.

Also, if you go to the junkyard, you can grab an egr piping from a junked 240 & grab the bung off the pipe (one end is male, one end is female).

I was hoping you would chime in on this. When I was searching I read that you were trying to do the same thing. Thanks
