ummm congrats?

LOL first thing every noob gets told is SEARCH.. and its unlikely you will have 400... that requires internal engine work and that's ALOT of power. Alot of people dont realize how much power that is....

But I'm in a good mood so I'll help you out. First thing to do is suspension! If you get power you need to control it. But first fix any problems the car has first.

Suspension parts (KTS coilovers $1100, SPL V2 tension rods $200) at SPLparts.comGet some 17x9 all around or maybe 17x9 front and 17x10 rear rims $2000Get a turbo setup maybe a T3/T4 or a T25, T28, FMIC, good fuel setup, etc.

And dont drift... F&F Tokyo Drift is a movie...

here is an idea. invest that money then for the next year on your spare time research and research a turbo set-up, chassis designs, suspension set-ups. first if you do your own research that will save you money in the long run. and if it is invested then you should come out ahead.

Buy a ka block now.even with blown Hg. probably $100-$300. Get turbo240 (AMS) rebuild kit with their rods and crower cams. Then get the IAP kit, thne just get injectors from deastchwerks and get an ecu tune from enth. Nothing else need to search for. You can piece together your kit for cheaper. But by that route above, everything is perfect for a combo of 400rwhp. Only thing you need to add is lsd tires for traction and suspension to help deliver the power.

Dont people usually end up with LESS money, not more- after a divorce?

Anyways-

Careful about blowing all that money all at once on the "biggest and best-" you'll end up spending more than you really need to. Basically for 400+ rwhp you are going to need a fully built longblock, a decent turbo setup with a well sized FMIC, quality engine management (I really suggest the AEM EMS if you are seriously going to spend a good amount of money), and wheels/tres/brakes/suspension to help you control it all.

Best suggestion really is to spend a LOT of time reading and realize not only what you need, but why you need those parts.

...And perhaps invest some of that money you've got as well, eh? Nothing like good money management...

haha well in that case...

Take a look at my KA-T S13:

http://www.ka-t.org/fiznat.htm

I liked the setup alot. Only thing I would add is forged rods. At 430rwhp the stock rods snapped and blew out the side of the block. Besides that minor detail though, haha, the setup was absolutely awesome. Gonna be rebuilding her this winter-- pretty much the exact same setup except I'm of course adding rods...
