well, I got everything on and things were going great until I blew a seal on the turbo. a rebuild kit is on the way, but once I get all the pics off my camera (I have a dead battery right now) I'll upload them.

with that said, I'm having a really weird issue.

I have the 550cc injectors installed, I have a SAFC 2 installed and I tuned all the settings for a Z32 MAF (I also have a stock MAF as well; I wasn't about to throw that out lol), T3/T4 turbo. well, when I turn the car on it reaks of fuel and idles terribly. so to get all the fuel out, I pull the fuel pump fuse and let it all get out by running without the fuse. the car runs ungodly rich and the car still runs (with my foot at 10% throttle, of course). has anyone else come across this?

I'm seriously considering going back to stock because this is all an insane mess. I still have my stock header and whatnot. I've searched, but I'm sure this is an odd ball of a problem. Stock injectors are on the way (I trashed my old ones; stupid idea ) as well as a turbo rebuild kit. any help is appreciated.

Get a rom tune. SAFC is only for fine tuning. Sure you can get it to run, but it's not going to last.

well, I do have BikiRom, but that's pretty much dogs***. I've tried messing with it and it doesn't seem to like my motor very much. lol

Have you checked your injector o-rings? I had one that wasn't even torn and it still wouldn't seal on the rail. I bought a set of new OEM rings and it finally ran right. When the injector was leaking, the thing ran for over a minute w/o the fuel pump fuse hooked up.

Oh, and +1 on a good ROM tune...you need something to retard the timing once boost hits.

I'll definitely try that when I get outta work.

but I have another suspicion; because there's a LOT of white smoke blowing out of my exhaust, would that mean I blew my head gasket? my oil when I drained it was still black (it wasn't milky like an obvious sign of a blown HG). would it be because of the large injectors dumping a ton of fuel into the cylinders? also, the turbo seal blew and leaked into the downpipe. would burning of oil cause that much smoke to come out of my tailpipe? the smoke was very stong of fuel, but it wasn't black.

The smoke is because your turbo seals blew and the strong gas smell is because of the pig rich fuel issue,, 240sxwifey is correct she knows because it happen to my ka-t my lower o rings were pinched on 2 of my injectors and caused it to flood the cylinders.
