KA-T w/ auto trans?

Hey guys..Total noob here.Anyways, I'm planning on buying an S14, the only problem is that it is an auto-trajic.But I was thinking of of turboing the KA24 and turning it into a fun DD/Drag car.Or should I just save up and do a manual swap?

don't go over ~300-350rwhp and put a trans cooler and you should be ok...if the trans is in good condition.

some people have done it here on nico.

i'd save up for 5sp tho, 5sp' are too much fun.

In reality, I'm thinking the price of turboing the KA is going to be far more than the price of just doing a manual swap.

And with a manual, I can do FULY SIK DORIFTOZ.

Being that this will pretty much be my first car, I'm trying to keep it cheap.It's really hard to find an un-abused manual 240.And most manual 240's, even zenki's are selling for 9K which is ridiculous IMO.

i got my zenki for 1600. you got to look for deals.

1st car = drive it and don't do anything for at least 6 months. Get use to the car.

In that time make sure all debt is paid before starting to mod the car.

I go on craigslist and search every day, and over 80% of the ads for 240's are something like S00PAR CLEAN 240 BLACK TOP DRIFT SPECIAL!!11111 and when you open the ad, it's a rusted out hatch with a KA that's about to die.

I'll keep my eyes peeled though..

Ill sell you my zenki i kno where a coupe is been thinkin bout buyin that.

with greddy turbo kit 5000

without 2500 and thats a brand newly rebuilt motor. motor only has less than 500 miles on it.

The motor was broken in before turbo was installed.And ill let you keep the full tank of 93.
