Now correct me if im wrong but the WRX and SRT4 do not run 21 psi on stock boost out of the factory... right..??If im right, then i feel DAMN proud of my ka-t only hitting 9 psi and kept up with them till 4th gear.......

Rob,I cant vouch for the SRT-4 but a WRX running 21 psi on a stock turbo, even if he had Nitrous is complete BS. The stock fuel pump can not supply enough fuel to the engine at that rate. If he is running that setup, it wont be for very long. The stock internals are not that strong to support that type of daily loads.

I cant say I run boost while idling, but I can run boost in reverse. Its a pretty funny concept.

boost in reverse.....

I wonder if I can, can't say I've put that much gas into in reverse.

hmmm, bet that'd make for all kinds of fun in the snow with a WRX...

the stock WRX turbo (the VF22) wont hold 21psi, period, ive seen the compressor maps and done the math, not possible. Also, the SRT-4 turbo, it WILL run 21psi, however it max's at 17.x psi stock, and there isnt' enough fuel to run 21psi, there either they're NOT stock, or were lying. Congrats on the good run with the KA-T.O, think about it, the only 4wheel drive car pulling hard in 4th from both 2wd cars with similar power = BS, his only shot wouldve been to beat you two out of the hole and hold

Unfortunately the stock WRX turbo is a TD04 not a VF22 (The VF22 is the stock WRX STi turbo which is completely different) so even if you did the math for the VF22 that's probably not the turbo he had if its the stock WRX turbo :pface

Yeah but the 21psi etc sounds like a bunch of crap.

Everyone knows teh SRT-4 is teh fast4rest ev4r :oface

Just wanted to let you know that the stock turbo is not a VF22 it is a TD04H.

oops, i feel like a dumbass:rolleyes but either way, i re-did the math and looked at the compressor maps, and the TDo4 is capable of 21psi, however not in the trim that its on the wrx and either way i think we've all come to the conclusion those cars werent stock, or they lied
