I just wanted to throw it out there, and also ask the question. Are there any KA-T verts out there? I know from searchin the KA-T section AZ was working on one, but I didn't get to the end of the post. I know alot of people have swapped an SR, VG, or RB, but I wanna see what I can make a KA do.I have a basic T03/04 kit on the way btw

I've already done a 248 intake cam swap. I think I'm gonna swap it back, I don't know if that's just too much top end with no low end.

I have a '93 'vert with KA24DE+T. Below are some pics right after I picked it up. A LOT has changed on it. I recirc'd the BOV, have re-done the intercooler piping, etc.

Next up is proper fuel management (FMUs are scary) with 50lb MSD injectors, Z32 MAF, and a custom-tuned eprom turbo program.

The car also has been swapped to a 5 speed.

Awesome, I just wanted to see what kind of times/h.p. I should be expecting. I can't run high boost often b/c this is my daily driver(it sucks to be 18 and broke.) I have a well re-built engine, so I know I can run about 5 pounds, but put it about 8 at the track. Also, how hard is the instal, and how long does it take? Like I said, this is my daily driver so I can't be without her long.

If you've never done a turbo install before, then plan about 2-3 weekends to get it all done. My first one (SE-R) took that long.

Knowing what I now know...I could easily turbo a S13 KA (or FWD SR, like my SE-R) in one weekend easily. You learn a lot the first time you do it.

Slip, I searched the KA-T forum and found all sorts of info on prices and locations to get stuff from. Try checking there.

I have always prided myself on doing my own work, but I might let an "expert" take care of this install, with my supervision. If anyone close to Shreveport Louisiana is intereseted let me know. I just don't have the time to have my car down
