to do so you'll need a custom dump and some other crazy goodness. i myself wouldnt really even consider either of these. the z31 turbo is the better of the 2 tho seeing as how the z31 turbo has a standard steel exhaust wheel vs the rb20's ceramic which loves to fly apart when boosting about 13-14psi but neither of which will yeild more than about 270whp, maybe more with some good tuning.
If I were you and hell bent on a t3 top mount I would look into something like a new Precision SC50 for about $800 and an ebay cast manifold. with a little port work on the mani to clean things up a bit that setup could easily yeild 400whp. get a fmic, a set of 550's, 3" exhaust, tial 38mm wastegate and a jim wolf or enthalpy rom tune with a z32 maf and you'll have yourself a 350whp combo ready to be daily driven. if youre on a tight budget you could save a little cash on the wastegate, 2 friends of mine both run the basic $90 OBX 38mm with no problems, spikes, creep or anything (Zach for over a year-RB20 and Craig for about a year-KAT).
