i might be getting a KA-T motor with 6,700 miles on the rebuild and it needs

crank (i have one)FMICpiggyback/stand alonedownpipeturbo elbowand a tune

the motor has

bottom mount manifoldgarret t3/t4forged pistons and rods (9.0:1)bearingsrebuilt headSR injectorsz32 MAF

he said he will take $300 for the motor. my question is can i put my

headerinjectorsand MAF on it and run it as an N/A until i get the money for everything it needs??? because my motor is going south fast

and would there be any kind of hp gains from having forged internals and a rebuilt head???

I don't see why not,but as far as the forged internals and rebuilt head you will not see any power gains unless the head has been ported.

Well, backcut valves would (in any case where the ports are already enough) up the ante even without any extra porting.

It amazes me the amount of people who talk about hogging material out of their ports, and making the finish glass smooth (which is a bad thing on the intake side), and don't even know what backcut valves are. I bet those same people think that flow numbers are more important than velocity, too.

If he is selling you the motor and turbo and all the other stuff for 300$,i would say your getting a pretty good deal.
