I just wanted a opinion from people familar with turbocharging the ka-t. I am having a stalling when i rev in neautral. This also happens when going into neautral while moving. I think it is since my maf is too close to my turbo. I wanted some opinions. I searched ka-t.org, and this seems like this could be it. I also get a backfire occasionally since i need to downshift very carefully to even stay running. I have about 10 miles on this setup so far, and have a pic of where my maf is in relationship to the turbo. I am sure that this is not my bov, it was turned for it. I even disconnected it and tried to rev...still stalls out, or almost does. If I rev over 3 grand it WILL stall. I think that the maf is reading wrong since it is so close to the turbo which causes a rich condition on decell. Any opinions? Here is the pic.

i have the same proble, but i have 610cc injectors.. so im running pig rich and the safc cant compensate...

in your case it could be that your running too rich.. check your plugs if your plugs are black then your too rich..

Check for a leaking intercooler pipe connection. Not just visually, but physically make sure they are not lose and the clamps are very tight.

They are blackish, I think it is from the mafs being to close. I installed a pipe today(so the mafs is further away), and it seems better. I did not really get to try it since I have open downpipe. The neighbors complained that I woke them up a few nights ago. I gave it a rev, and it seems way better. Maybe a lil idle tweak tomorrow and I will be all good. I reved it after it ran for a few minutes, and it did not stall.
