Hi I have an s13 coupe and been doing a little research on making it a det. I know some requirements are sr20 injecters/ fuel rail, 3' headers/ down pipe/ exhaust, intercooler/ pipping, turbo of course, blow off valve, tuned ecu, bigger fuel pump, but im pretty sure there are other things I'm missing. Like I said im still doing research and couldn't think of a better way to get more info and help or better input on aftermarkets part then here..

You got it all listed. But make sure you get a turbo manifold and not just a header. But there are several different tuning options besides a tuned ecu.Check the stickies at the top of the page and you will find all the info you need.

I would say my budget is between 8-9 hundred, as far as hp it doesnt really matter as long as I can stay up or wit a Vet or even beat any up to date v8, im a going to be doing this conversion to my daily driver/ drifter

Don't count on keeping up with a Z06 unless you know what you are doing and have the resourses. The best way is to start small and upgrade as you please. Unless you REALLY know what you are doing, things can be a bit pricey.

It all depends on your power goals and how much cash you have to spend. An s13 MAF is good up to around 250 rwhp or so. From there on you can look into MAFs from Maximas/ 300zxs/ Cobras/ Lightnings, etc etc etc.

As for the air filter. You can really use anythign that can withstand the heat temps in the engine bay. Hell, I've seen air filters on Ebay go for less than five bucks!

BTW, you already have the s13 MAF attached to your intake anyway...just in case ya didn't see it before, lol.

Check IAP, JGS, Greddy, AMS for turbo kits.

JGS is the best deal IMO. Use a ECU tune for fuel managment. Use a EBay fmic kit with the JGS turbo kit.

But you're going to need alot more then 800 for a decent kit. Unless you can fabricate things yourself.

If you realy have 8-900 for a budget I recommend trying Nitrous instead.

as for the MAF, definitely use a Z32 TT MAF (N62 is what it should say on it). they are fairly plentiful but you will need an ecu retune, e manage, or safc to use that MAF. i personally don't think any setup that has a budget of 800-900 bux will outrun any stock c5 or c6 vette so good luck on that one. even where i'm now, i think i would have a hard time keeping up and i have about twice as much invested than ur predicted budget. Nonetheless, keep reading and searching and just make a list of things that people have confirmed as a necessity for your project.

I have the iap kit for sale which now I'm switching over to another bigger setup Get a nice t3mani, used t3/t4 or new$$$, ebay fmic, then depending on boost level your management. whether safc or ecu tune. Most kits i price otu end up around 2k for 330rwhp includes the clutch that people "forget" about
