Well its finally happening! The engine is almost out of the machine shop, waiting on o-ringing and thats it! I am starting to piece together everything else i need and I just got my turbo and injectors and fuel pump.

My next question is, when you guys all installed your KA-T, did you have any problems with anything wiring up or lining up or fitting? If you did, please make my life a little easier and let me know so I can be ready to deal with it.

Also, do any of you know how well the Siemens 720cc Injectors go into the KA Intake Manifold? Plus, anyone got a JWT Fuel rail they want to sell me, or know what JWT sells them for new?

If you use the REVHARD manifold make sure you get an "on center" type turbine housing. The oil pressure sending unit uses a British standard pipe thread (???).The stock ignition won't fire correctly over 5-6 psi with stock gapped spark plugs.DO NOT put anti-sieze on the EGR pipe on the valve side. It will back off due to vibration/thermal cycling in a couple of days, over and over and over again. And the last thing, watch out for wheel spin when the tach hits 3500rpm :-)

Yeah I already knew about the threads as I have an aftermarket Oil Press. Gauge.

Has anyone wired up a Walbro Fuel Pump? I was told by Robert @ Enjuku there was a couple wires to spice, am I going to figure them out when I go to put the fuel pump in? By the way, I checked the search, and there wasnt anything on there about explicitly wiring up the fuel pump.

*bump*

And does anyone know who is a good reseller of Cusco Roll cages and stuff? Also do they make a roll bar setup that is up to par with NHRA Sport Compact guidelines?

I installed my Walbro a couple of days ago. It took about 45 minutes total. There's only 2 wires to cut and crimp...power, and ground. If you buy the kit, it even comes with the crimps. The "wiring" takes all of 1 minute.

So...Soldering on a fuel pump by the fuel tank is out of the question?

no by all means, solder away.... I'd recomend a micro torch actually, and be sure to include me in your estate.

When we did our walbro install's we just stuck the wires on and used the factory mounting screws to hold it in place. If you play with it a little it works (at least in our case).
