Are the 370s sidefeed from an SR fuel rail?

You will also need a wideband O2 to make sure your afrs are good. You could prob use your stock MAF aince the 370cc injectors really won't be able to max out the stock MAF.

Your ecu will have to be calibrated to run with an N60 MAF IIRC.

No need for the e-manage if you have a safc, but you will need a dyno tune or at least a tune with a wideband.I've heard that an N-60 mafs and 370cc injectors work without any other changes. I'm not sure so someone else will have to verify this.

oh ok. well the 370cc i have were included with the sr rail. got them from a sr friend.

do i need to take the injectors out and put them on my ka rail? or can i leave them in the sr rail and use it on the ka? the stock sr injectors are side fed?

and about the wideband...any brand? and isnt that just an upgraded o2 sensor?

thanks for all the help guys!

ok so the update list:

What i got:-greddy front mount intercooler-manifold-370cc injectors-custom down pipe-custom intercooler piping-bosch bov

what i am getting in a week:-t25-safc2-oil lines-wideband o2 sensor-walbro 255lp fuel pump-gauges-oil restrictor?

The wide band is just that. I reads a "wide" band of the eg, as opposed to the factory narrow band, which only reads a small or narrow range. It gives the most accurate reading for your engine throughout it's rpm range. And put the injectors in the ka rail. Go ahead and get some new o-rings anad a good o-ring lube.

alright so it looks like i will be installing my kit this weekend.

i got the manifold, t25 turbo, feed/drain lines, ecu (emance), stock maf, 370cc injectors, boost gauge, walbro pump, sidemount intercooler and piping, upgraded stock 2 row radiator, bkr7e spark plugs, stock fpr (for now), all at stock 7psi boost.

wish me luck! i will be taking pictures!

i am almost done.

i had a quick question. does anyone know if i can use the nipple on the stock cold piping off a sr20 as my vacuum source to my wastegate??

(its right next to the top right side of the radiator...in the picture is perpendicular to the maf sensor wire....running along side of the radiator hose on the right)

i know on a sr this is their vacuum source for the wastegate....

SAFC is garbage. Get a piggyback or standalone, but more KA-T's have failed on SAFC tuning thn any other cause.

Seriously.

Doing a KA-T is NOT something you should halfass. Skimp someplace else, not on your tuning.

the safc is just a hack it you can pretty much only change the fuel trim, there is no ignition controll at all.... now i have a friend that is making 489 whp with a jwt ecu and a safc hack for fine tuning the fuel and it works. But just using an safc for your main tuning not so much.. it can be done but its not ideal

But + elventy billion on getting a nice ecu and not skimping on the tuning.A good tune will make or break a car

ok so i got it running. all i need to do is get a custom dp and close the egr.

but i noticed today after the second start up and idle that when i opened the oil cap, it smells like gas...what could be the cause of that?

im still working on getting a wideband thats why i havent driven the car but now im thinking it could be the ecu making the car run too rich?? or like what the other thread was saying about a sticky injector?

the vacuum on the boost gauge reads 17-18 and the car idles at roughly 900 and also the car has a hard time starting. (i need to give it gas to start, but once it starts it runs fine)

oh ya and can i run the wastegate on the nipple off the stock sr intercooler pipin as pictured above on the sr motor?

any help would be greatly appreciated.
