**I'll post pic tomorrow**

Bought a new magnaflow stock replacement cat and took my KA-T to get inspected, thinking I would just have it fail and apply for a low mileage waiver that they do in TX.

It passed!

Absolutely no smog parts left on the car, no egr, no PCV, no canister.. lol.

Left the car running when I showed up, left my WB port open (vented a little exhaust during emissions), bought new cat $113.

That's it. Maybe the inspector drove the car at a ideal rpm to make it pass, yall be the judge.

I had mine pass in AZ with nothing, not even a cat. I tuned it while I was on the "dyno sniffer chingus" with the safc. Just to make sure wasn't rich at all at the test rpm. I also added 2 gal of denatured alky to just under 1/4 tank of pump gas.

Congrats on the pass, especially when you planned on failing. I had also planned on a failure and was kinda shocked when the guy printed out a good to go receipt.

Love that we don't have any more sniffer test for OBD1 cars. :)

I had mine tested in Tucson, but the regs and stations are the same. Hell, I had my external wastegate vented to the atmosphere and they didn't say anything.
