I just bought a t3/t4 and mani, the turbo is missing the outlet and wastegate...and I can't find an outlet anywhere...

Basically, here is my planned setup:

Ka24de.60/.82 A/R T3/T04E turbo38mm tial wastegate & dumpmanifoldfmic + bov3" downpipe + exhaustHolley rising rate FPR 1:1 boost referencewalbro 255lph pump

I want to keep it at 7psi (motor will be stock for now)...is this reasonable, am I missing anything? How will I need to adjust the timing? Do I need a boost controller if I don't plan on raising the boost?

Sorry for all the noob questions, I'm just kind of lost right now...I think I'm confusing myself, but this is my first ka-t so...

Any help would be great, thanks.

Oh also, there is a bung on the mani, but it's too small for an o2, would i run that off the dp and plug up the one on the mani??

you need injectors(not 370cc - too small)oil linesengine management

also, you don't need the fpr unless you're getting a different fuel rail.

you as for the elbow, you will want to buy a 5 bolt t3 flange and have one fabricated for you. check our sponsors for the parts you need.

looks like a sound setup so far. good luck with it.

Yeah, I 4got to mention oil lines. Well I read that you can use a rising rate fpr as long as your not boosting too high, and you can run that until you do upgrade injectors, and then you get an afc of some sort.

well you can use a rising rate fpr, but it's more of a band-aid solution for small turbo setups, and not really a viable option for big turbos(like typical t3/t4's).

This is because in order to flow enough fuel for the amount of air you'd be flowing, you would probably have to run a dangerously high amount of fuel pressure.

Besides, the 1:1 fpr is the same as the stock one. A ratio you would need would probably be between 8:1 and 12:1.. but don't quote me on that.

http://www.holley.com/512-504-5.asp this one is 1:1http://www.holley.com/512-505.asp 4:1, but used w/ stock fpr...?

But I'm only going to be running 6-7psi...

The 4:1 sounds like what you need. Its a rising rate FPR.

Like cav said, its not the safest form of fuel mgmt. The alternative is injectors (370's go for $100) and something to control them (SAFC).

You wont need a boost controller if you get a 7psi spring for the Tial. You cant boost lower than the spring, but you can use a bosst controller to go higher.

Well I wouldn't even get 370s, I heard they don't run right in a KA. But I could use a rrfpr temporarily if I don't have the money to buy injectors and an safc?

I want to have all this stuff on by Nopi at least.

they run fine when they are used with proper fuel management.

there are many setups that use the stock injectors. The safest way is with larger injectors and an SAFC II or something like that. You should be fine with the RRFPR at 7 lbs. There are a few T25 setups around me that don't have any thing for fuel, they run at about 5 lbs. There is a guy with a T28 that runs a walbro with an vortech 7:1 FMU with good results. The problem with those setups is they are not scalable. You need to choose a setup that will allow for upgrades later. 370's and a used SAFC will run you $350. If you want to run 7 lbs constant go with the RRFPR, if you want more, and you probably will, go with injectors and SAFC.
