Turned my fuel pressure and car was running great. With the exception of overheating while stopped. Also my brakes lights didn't work. Bolt on the brake pedal fixed that. Had a car meet last Thursday and Floyds13 showed up at my house and we take off to go to it.A Florida Flash Thunderstorm happens out of nowhere and roads are slick.Halfway there a cop pulls out of a gas station and gets up behind me...I'm thinking my brake lights aren't working no more..he stays behind me for abotu 2-3miles before passing me. The light in front of the cop and I turns red... I let off the gas and coast to the light. Start to hit my brakes and nothing, try pumping them and nothing, So I gently pull the ebrake and slowly lock them up while going in a straight line. Then turn right into a U-Haul storage place. Where I immediately pop my hood and jump up. The cop who just passed me is sitting at the light with the WTF expression on his face. He pulls up next to me and ask very sternly, "Is there a problem here" I replied," Well my brakes didn't work, so I pulled my e-brake so I could stop" He starts to somehting somehtign else but it starts to pour again, so the nice officer rolls up his window and drives off.In the rush of trying to get to the meet, I forgot to put my heat shield over my turbo. Master cylinder is baked New one ordered $135 with reservior $65 without. How is the reservior more than the master cylinder????Taking it to a shop so they can weld my diff while I wait for the master cylinder to come in.Also got a Koyo radiator that should be here any day to fix my heating problem...Lesson: Invest in heat blankets/shields and stop rushing yourself....
