well if you guys remember i tried starting her up without my IC pipes...i installed my IC pipes and hooked in my IACV and put on the MAF sensor...

however my idle is crap...i currently run a SAFCII with a plx wideband 02 and STOCK injectors / STOCK fuel pump.....i just want her to idle

i have my settings to 20% 60% throttle points.....0% across the board on both hi and low maps....(because of stock injectors) didnt change any of the dec. air settings but ill tell you about it in a bit.....5in and 5 out...(im running STOCK MAF)

so first i started her and it was good idle...15 AFR then it shoots up to 20 and says LEAN and stutters and cuts out....

so then i messed around with my MAF settings and changed it to 1in and 6 out ( i know this is z32 MAF settings) this idles good! but would sooner or later about 15 seconds go lean and cut out....

so i tried adding some fuel on my maps but that didnt help much and all i smelled fuel and got me lightheaded......

so i changed the dec. air settings to 2, 2, 2 because i heard some people used those settings for stock MAF and she idled better! but the AFR would be 13-14.....is that too rich?? this would actually keep on idling though....didnt cut out....

so then i tried to unhook my MAF just for the hell of it...wow she idled better than i expect it to be....however it would jump back and forth from 2000rpm to 1000rpm like someone was gassing and letting off

so yeah...you guys have any tips? i have a open downpipe so after a long time of this it's kind of annoying

Well, if ur running STOCK fuel system, u should not be messing with the fuel maps at all..!! The dec-air function has NOTHING to do with idle mixture..

Re-set the afc back to ZERO across the board and make sure the maf settings are correct for stock maf, if that doesnt help, then remove the AFC completly and run in to see what happens..

I thinks Its that Wideband O2 sensor.. I think that narrowband O2 output from the wideband may be bad. Cause i have that same wideband setup and now my idle mixture is 19.9 unless i tune the afc +25% to get it to 14-15... Then it idles SMOOTH as can be.I havent put my stock o2 sensor in yet cause im just plain old F'ING lazy...

You have to do trial and error. I ran into similair problems a couple of weeks back and narrowed down my FUNKY and JUMPY idle to a bad MSD box...But as far as my lean mixture's at idle, i think its the narrowband output from the wideband o2 sensor...

the AFC is fine i used to run it when i was NA and it worked perfectly...i already changed the LO throttle map back to 0% across the board because i was only testing to see what would happen.....i use 2 02 sensors...1 stock and 1 from the wideband

so are you saying i should turn up the fuel until it idles ok then turn it back down when the car warms up

the Z meter is 2 in and 5 out. sometimes it will work with 2in and 6 out.

did you mess with the timing? also the previous post about the wideband sensor not working for the narrowband thing could be the issue. try a stock O2 sensor and see what it does..........check all other connections.
