'm experiencing some idling issues but these have only popped up as of late. my setup is 480cc injectors, z32 MAF, t3 turbo, enthalpy ecu. now i do have an safc installed but let me explain whats going on. i recently fixed a vac leak the other day that was plaguing me for about 2 years if not more. the vac reading was around 11-12 inches while after fixing it, it was a solid 20 inches. now when i fixed the vac leak, i started to get an erratic idle with bouncy rpm's. i also was logging an afr of 21 at idle............now i double checked EVERYTHING to see if maybe something called it quits but everything checked out. checked the MAF, CTS, checked for boost leaks, torn couplers, leaky injectors, fuel pressure, ecu codes, etc. nothing came back negative or out of range. i ended up undoing the plugs that were causing the vac leak and voila...............instant cure. car returned to its purring self but the vac is still now around 11-12. my question to u is do u think it's the tune? i'm in contact with scott right now but i'm leaning towards the tune as the afr returned back to 15-16 at idle with the vac leak. any suggestions from the fellow ka-t's out there?

I run an enthalpy ecu myself and let me tell you, i run SOOO lean at idle that it don't even register on my wide band. I now own a SAFC to back up the ECU (which runs lean at idle and rich every wheres else). My advice to you is, plug those vac leaks back up, do a boost leak test and make sure you don't have any more leaks. Then turn up the low th on your SAFC till you get a clean idle. I have mine idling around 14.7 to 15. I have my low th set at +24 at 1k rpm just to get a clean idle.
